By Rohan Kaparwan, DME, Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Delhi.*

Abstract

A fundamental component of the growth of law, the incorporation of human rights ideas into national legal systems has shaped global governance and justice environments. This study explores the complex relationship between human rights and the evolution of national legal frameworks, looking at the ways in which norms related to human rights are incorporated, the role that courts play in enforcing these rights, and the difficulties that arise when putting these rights into practice. This study examines the philosophical framework, historical background, and practical ramifications of integrating human rights into national legal systems by drawing on a thorough investigation of the literature, case studies, and legal analysis. It also examines how human rights overlap with other legal domains, like environmental protection, minority rights, and gender equality, emphasizing the relationship between legal doctrines and human rights imperatives. This study provides insights into the transformational power of human rights in forming legal norms, creating responsibility, and promoting justice through a thorough analysis of case studies and jurisprudential processes. In the end, it emphasizes how crucial it is to carry out further study, lobbying, and legislative change in order to improve the protection of everyone's fundamental freedoms and rights and to fortify the integration of human rights inside national legal systems.
